Pilot:

Aircraft pilot are the commercial pilots. This is one of the most renowned designations in the aviation sector. But only student with physics and math’s in 10+2 are eligible for this course. There are many private and government sponsored schools which charge a huge amount of money for obtaining a CPL. The total cost in the private school is 1600000 to 2200000.

After the completion of the course there are many government and private airlines, in which an aspirant can work some of the popular domestic airlines include, jet airways, sahara, air deccan. The other international airlines include British airways; air Canada, united airlines, virgin atlantic. The salary or remuneration in this field could be very attractive as a junior pilot can start anywhere between 5000 to 75000 per month after some years of flying experience one can go up to 200000 to 300000 per month. Apart from this a person gets fair chances to travel to the various places.

Air Hostess/Flight Steward:

The air-hostess/flight steward are responsible for comfortable and safe journey of passengers in the aircraft, their job may include giving safety instructions, serving refreshments and foods, providing first aid to the passengers who fells sick. If you are interested in serving the people with smile and love the hospitality job, then this career will suit you the best. There are many companies in India which provide one year course in Air-hostess/flight steward, any student can go for this course after 10+2 provided you are having good communication skills and pleasing personality.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer:

They are responsible for maintenance and ensuring safety in the aircraft and assure that the aircraft is ready to take-off. This is one of the great career options for the science student who have passed class 12th with physics, chemistry and math’s. To become an aircraft maintenance engineer, a person either having a degree in aeronautical engineering or a 3 yr diploma in aircraft maintenance. The salary of these engineers can be very good, for a fresher it could be 30000 to 50000 per month.

Ground Duty Staff:

Ground duty staffs are those people who works are associated with the aviation industry but they work in the airports the job profiles may include flight instructors, flight dispatchers, and aviation doctors. The remuneration depends upon their job profiles and experience.

The Salary in this field depend upon the employer and your post and experience, if you are working as a front office manager then you may get salary up to 100000 per month in India. In abroad the salary is generally higher for a chef it may be around $2000 to $4000 per month and for a front office manager it could be $4000 to $6000 per month.
